Eight Inch Gun

We had one of these up on FSB Rakkasan (but this photo is not the one). FSB Rakkasan was the only firebase in our area with a road in to it. Can't carry one of these babies with a chopper...even a Sky-Crane couldn't. We also had a 175mm Gun up on Rakkasan. Man, when these two guns went off, it would lift you off the ground. The 2nd Platoon, always seemed to get the bunker positions just below the big guns. Bummer!!!
